Thinking of Paul …
Roman Gallery is pleased to invite you to the exhibition „Thinking of Paul …”, an event dedicated to the maestro Paul Gherasim. The opening will take place Tuesday, December 6, at 19:00.
Every year, around big holidays, Easter and Nativity respectively, maestro Paul Gherasim cared for the art lovers to receive joy: an exhibition which included his love – and artists’s from Group Prolog – for God. This year, in summer, Paul Gherasim went to the Lord.
Paul Gherasim was the spiritual mentor to many peers. He has not made a profession of his grace, but he spoke to whom had the pleasure to listen him. He was also a mentor for professional colleagues. He did not „teach” them, he made them to „see”. Because „seeing when you do school, you realize your helplessness. And seeing as you’re helpless, humble yourself. The art of Paul Gherasim is a statement of devotion. Paul Gherasim felt that the art in Romania needs this devotion. So was founded Prolog Group.
With love, longing and friendship, 28 painters who had met Paul Gherasim, who have admired and loved him, to whom he shared his vision and thoughts, stood near him and were enriched spiritually, Roman Gallery will exhibit „Thinking of Paul …”. An exhibition that aims to give joy to the art lovers, now, on the eve of the Feast of the Nativity, as Paul Gherasim used to do. On 6 December, with the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the maestro Paul Gherasim, in which will speak mr. Vladimir Bulat, art critic, will be released the book „The murmur of poetry”, book edited by Mr. Paul Gherasim and Marius Pandele, published by Predania with the support of the “Catena pentru Artă” Foundation.
